International composers

We are the “Acantun Kollektiv” – a collective which was founded in 2019 by the conductor Katharina Dickopf and six other international composers. Thereby we are defined by a particular spectrum of artistic composition, individual techniques and lively concepts.

With great care we unite this multiplicity in concerts, which forge a bridge with not just an elaborated topic but also with expressive light installations by Geohwan Ju. “Tempel im Gehör” plays the main role in our current work. It is a program which has a direct relation to Rainer Maria Rilkes poems “Sonette an Orpheus” and is going to be performed by the ensemble “El Perro Andaluz”. Unrelated to that there is also an ongoing cooperation between us and the “Sächsisches Blechbläser Consort” which will result in additional concerts in winter 2020.
